Engage Austin is coming at us fast, and it’ll be here in a matter of weeks. Last year, we sold out a full week before the event and had to close registration early, so if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, now is the time. Let me tell you why.
The full agenda for Engage 2018 is now available online, and it promises to be one of our strongest agendas ever. With more than 60 customer and partner speakers participating this year, our content lineup is strong and diverse.
We have not only some incredible company names taking over the main stage, but some really inspirational digital innovators from those organizations, all coming together to teach us how to win at digital.
You can expect to hear from the following heavy hitters on how they excel within their respective industries:
- Eric Black, chief technology officer at NBC Sports Digital & Playmaker Media
- Linda Albornoz, vice president of digital cross-enterprise platforms at Charles Schwab
- Michael Mancuso, digital product owner at Wendy’s
- Vijay Kukreja, vice president digital strategy at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
These folks will take the stage along with our keynote headliner, Erik Weihenmayer — athlete, adventurer, author, activist and motivational speaker. Weihenmayer is one of the most celebrated and accomplished athletes in the world. In 2001, he became the first blind person in history to climb Mount Everest and all of the Seven Summits – the tallest peak on each of the seven continents.
We’re excited to bring a more human-centric story to Engage, and expect him to deliver some poignant, feel-good moments for us all. We can’t wait for you to hear his incredible story.
In addition to our outstanding mainstage content, we’ll also have 28 breakout sessions across our four talk tracks: Build, Manage, Optimize, and Focus On. This year’s agenda is built to appeal to anyone within your organization, whether you’re a developer, a marketer, or a C-level exec.
Sessions will cover a range of topics, everything from decoupled Drupal to multisite management, journey orchestration, Acquia products and tools, customer case studies, and panels that discuss best-practices in industry-specific settings.
As is tradition at Engage, we’ll be hosting a conference party on the evening of Nov. 8, which will take place this year at the Austin nightlife staple, Speakeasy. You can expect an evening full of great food, live music, fun entertainment, and ample time to network. All registered Engage attendees are welcome.
The weather in Austin is supposed to be mighty fine this time of year, so you’re also welcome to join us in a long weekend post-conference, soaking up the sun, and getting in some extra barbecue and live music.
