Acquia Flow

Acquia Recognized by Inc. 5000 and MarTech Breakthrough

Year after year, our team at Acquia has pushed the boundaries of product innovation and customer success through a commitment to learning and mutual growth. Today, we’re very proud to announce that we have been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America for the eighth consecutive year. Our continued inclusion among the world’s most elite organizations demonstrates our commitment to helping thousands of global customers create moments that matter for their customers.

In the 12 years since Acquia was founded, we’ve observed a shift in the market from website-driven experiences to 360-degree multichannel customer journeys. While we’re still a leader in the field of web content management, we’ve expanded our vision to new markets, and we’re continuously working toward a larger purpose to deliver more consistent digital experiences that drive connections between brands and customers.

Today, the collective efforts of our team are felt around the globe. We’re empowering customers to create world-class experiences across Europe, Asia and the Americas. In 2018, increasing demand for the Acquia Experience Platform propelled our team to a record-breaking year of growth, surpassing $200 million in revenue and accelerating our capacity to serve top enterprise brands with over 50 new product capabilities for delivering powerful digital experiences at scale. Last year, more than a quarter of our total growth came from international revenue. It’s an honor to be named a fastest-growing company by Inc. and the recognition validates that the industry believes in our vision for the future of customer experience and is seeking out solutions to build and optimize digital experiences.

This year marks another special milestone in terms of our growth and momentum as we’ve now welcomed the addition of the Mautic team, strengthening our product roadmap and company vision. Mautic, the world’s only open marketing cloud, was just named the Best Overall Marketing Automation Solution in the 2019 MarTech Breakthrough Awards! MarTech Breakthrough is an independent organization that honors excellence and creativity in the global marketing technology industry. The inclusion of Mautic’s marketing automation and campaign management capabilities to Acquia’s broader digital experience platform will drive seamless, one-to-one customer experiences across any digital channel and help brands engage with their customers in more unified and perceptive ways.

Mautic’s platform allows for open innovation and thousands of integrations, making it easy for marketing teams to combine the tools of their choice, both bought or built, instead of experiencing vendor and data lock-in. Mautic is a natural fit in both product compatibility and alignment to Acquia’s mission of creating adaptable and flexible technology that supports the goals of both mid-market and enterprise organizations. Together, the two companies form the only open alternative to expensive, closed, stagnant marketing clouds.

While proprietary vendors continue to gaze inward and focus on their own products, the community at Acquia is paying attention to what’s happening all around us, and with these latest accolades, it’s clear that the industry is returning that attention and appreciating Acquia’s influence on the DXP landscape. The dual recognition Acquia and Mautic have earned from Inc. and MarTech Breakthrough confirms our stance that the future of all digital experiences is open, and that Acquia is poised to deliver a future of connected, contextual customer journeys.
