Acquia Engage Takes Over New Orleans and You’re Invited

 With its vibrant festivals and good vibes, New Orleans is the perfect spot to host Acquia Engage! New Orleans is known as a center of culture, diversity and history. We’re embracing this spirit of connection and soulful storytelling through programs that encourage people to learn from others across different fields and backgrounds. Our two-day customer conference is happening from November 11-13 in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana at the Hyatt Regency.

Now in its sixth year, Acquia Engage promises to be a whirlwind event full of education, networking and entertainment that brings together leaders and experts across all industries and sparks new connections. Last year, one Engage attendee described the experience as “technically enriching and delicious!” So this time around, we’re bringing you all those informative and inspirational moments with a kick of Cajun flavor.

As we continue to develop and push the boundaries of digital innovation, we want to invite members of our community to take part in the evolution at Engage. The last few months have been a transformative time at Acquia, from our recent acquisition of open marketing cloud Mautic to the opening of our new Pune office and our continued growth and expansion into new markets like Latin America. A few months ago at Engage Europe 2019, we revealed five brand new product developments and there are even more exciting developments in the works this time around that will be announced at the event!

Unlike other conferences that tend to limit their focus to a single department or vertical, Engage is unique for its diverse mix of professional perspectives and voices, uniting developers, digital marketers and business executives in lively discussions that explore every part of bringing outstanding digital experiences to life. Engage NOLA will include four industry roundtables focusing on financial services, health care, education and technology where you can chat with real people in your space. As Acquia's Vice President of Global Field & Events Marketing, Angela Schmidt has responsibility for the strategy and execution of Acquia’s global events, field marketing and vertical marketing programs. She has more than 18 years of experience in global events, field marketing, demand generation, channel marketing and marketing strategy for B2B technology organizations. Angela is both a strategic thinker and tactical planner who takes a customer-centric approach to build programs that deliver measurable revenue growth. Prior to her role at Acquia, she held roles as the Head of Global Events & Marketing Programs for Software AG and webMethods.

Angela has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and lives with her family in Washington, DC.
