Recognition from a wide range of analysts helps organizations understand why the enterprise favors Acquia products

A bumper crop of honors heralds the fall season for Acquia, which has been recognized by a range of leading analysts this year for strengths imperative to the success of organizations today. These commendations underscore companies’ investments in Acquia products and help explain why so many of our customers are enjoying impressive results with their digital initiatives. Nestlé Germany, for example, used a few different Acquia tools and platforms to rebuild 10 websites, reducing page load times by 48% and increasing site traffic and time on page.

A star among the Constellation ShortList™

Such improvements shed light on why Acquia was named to the Constellation ShortList™ once again. Inclusion puts us among solution providers who consistently deliver on the technical requirements that inform digital transformation. The seven categories for which Acquia was recognized span tools and platforms that elevate organizations’ digital and customer experiences:

The throughline that ties the categories together for Acquia can be found in our firm belief that content and data are the bedrock upon which excellent digital experiences are built. We combine the two through Acquia DXP, which is based on open APIs, as well as Drupal, one of the world’s most widely used open source platforms. That foundation frees organizations from the limitations of proprietary software, allowing marketers to be nimble in their responses to shifting market conditions and rapid technological advancements. Plus, Acquia is the largest corporate contributor to Drupal and the top provider of solutions and services for its applications, so organizations can rest assured that we’re active in the platform’s development and longevity. 

Looking back at earlier honors

The recognition from Constellation analysts grows the many laurels Acquia has received this year. In September, for instance, the Snowflake 2023 Modern Marketing Data Stack report recognized Acquia as a Leader in the customer data activation category, affirming the data-driven marketing that the company excels at providing to brands.

A month earlier, Forrester named the company a Leader in its Forrester Wave™: Content Management Systems, Q3 2023 Report, with Acquia earning the highest possible scores in the architecture (extensibility and configuration), practitioner and developer communities, partner ecosystem, and global delivery strategy criteria.

Also in August, the Aragon Research Globe™ for Content Experience Platforms (CXP) called out Acquia DXP as a Leader. Ranking 17 providers on strategy, performance, and reach, the firm reviewed their ability to empower enterprises in shifting intelligent, dynamic, personalized journeys for delivery on any device and found Acquia to be a pacesetter.

In June, International Data Corporation (IDC) also named Acquia a Leader in two reports that evaluated content management solutions: the IDC MarketScape for Full Stack Content Management Systems and the IDC MarketScape for Hybrid Headless Content Management Systems. Marci Maddox, Research Vice President of Digital Experience Strategies at IDC, observed that “enterprises that favor an open source stack and desire the flexibility to deliver omnichannel experiences with a marketer-friendly authoring environment can confidently consider Acquia.”

And, in the spring, Gartner named Acquia a Leader in the 2023 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Digital Experience Platforms report — the fourth such instance in the company’s history. The honor validates our belief that we offer what customers and partners seek in an open, composable DXP.

Indeed, the steady cadence of recognition from all corners of the analyst world is humbling yet affirming, indicating alignment between our vision and market needs both now and into the future. These honors further boost our commitment to the success of our customers and partners, promising even greater momentum in 2024.
