Global Atlantic Financial Group needed to quickly develop a vaccine attestation system for collecting the vaccination status of its employees. Every associate, contractor and employee would need to log into the intranet portal and submit a vaccine attestation form. This would help the organization plan for reopening offices based on the responses received and organize any vaccination drives for their employees.

Global Atlantic tapped digital partner Ameex, to leverage Drupal for creating the interface for collecting and tracking user responses. Global Atlantic chose Drupal and Acquia based on flexibility, security and comfort level with several successful Drupal projects delivered by Ameex previously.
Ameex separated the entire workflow into four epics, paying close attention to the user experience, with the knowledge that hundreds of associates would rely on this system daily to gain access to the building. The stakes were much higher for this project and the solution needed to be flexible to adapt to changing needs, attitudes and CDC guidelines around COVID-19 and the workplace, such as recently approved vaccines and the number of necessary doses. Acquia Cloud was seamless in pushing changes across environments for the project at any point of time.
The project was successfully developed, tested and delivered in 10 days. Global Atlantic employees found it easy and convenient to submit their vaccination response, and the organization was able to use the data for planning next steps for reopening offices. With more than 1,100 employees using the system, the response time was between 5-10 minutes, and the application uptime increased to 99.999%
