Acquia added more than 100 new employees in offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific during the past six months. The company now has more than 400 employees worldwide who are committed to helping organizations achieve success with their digital strategies. Magnifying the company’s reach, the Acquia Partner Program now includes more than 750 organizations worldwide, offering an extensive network to help customers with their digital strategies, designs and development. Accelerating its global expansion, Acquia recently opened its new EMEA headquarters in the UK’s thriving tech hub of Reading.

The Autodesk Knowledge Network selected Drupal to build a new online destination that provides guided support and online help for its world-leading solutions for 3D design, engineering, and entertainment. Using Drupal, Autodesk has the flexibility to integrate with several existing systems as it advances the community features of its help sites and forums.

Customer and Partner Expansion
Acquia added more than 80 new partners in the past two quarters, about half of which are based outside North America, bringing the total number of global partners to more than 750. New additions to Acquia’s Partner Program include Cignex, Mahindra Satyam, Public Consulting Group, Wipro, eDynamic, ICF International, Mindtree, Perficient, and Precision Dialogue.
Committed to high levels of security and compliance, Acquia received its second Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Authorization to Operate, obtained as part of the company’s work with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Acquia is also working with the Department of Transportation to obtain an agency Authorization to Operate for FedRAMP compliance.
New customers Acquia signed in the past two quarters include the NCAA, Intel Corporation, News Corp Australia, Timex, Sephora, Webster Bank, Columbia University, McGraw Hill Financial Interactive, Bandwidth.com, Blue Man Productions, CI Investments, iCIMS, Inc., Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, MuleSoft, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Global Disaster Preparedness Center, Salve Regina University, Visit England, and Tiger Financial Management among others. Acquia’s customer base exceeds 4,000 organizations.
