DrupalCon Amsterdam 2019

Are you interested in learning more about what Acquia is all about? If you’re attending DrupalCon 2019 in Seattle, you’ll have many opportunities to get to know us and our work. One of the best ways to do so is to attend one of our DrupalCon sessions!

This year, we’re thrilled to be hosting two sponsored sessions, as well as a number of lightning sessions at our booth in the exhibit hall. We’ll also be debuting our new Acquia Developer Studio. Our ambition is to empower developers to innovate the most powerful digital experiences in less time, with less effort, and with more flexibility.  The Acquia Developer Studio is the means in which we provide a fully integrated system out of the box with an open architecture to plug and play as desired.

Here’s a preview of what we’ll be up to at DrupalCon Seattle. We’re excited about everything that we have in store for you, and can’t wait to meet you!

(P.S.—Don’t forget to join us for drinks, and a game of ping-pong, on April 9 at 6:30 p.m.)

Acquia Developer Studio

DrupalCon Seattle is also where we’ll debut the Command Line Interface (CLI), the first offering from our new Acquia Developer Studio. The Acquia Developer Studio CLI is designed to provide developers with the process efficiencies they need to complete projects, but for which they commonly have had to seek alternative technologies.

Using Acquia Developer Studio CLI, developers will be able to take advantage of:

  • Radically faster on-boarding, through next-generation local and cloud enterprise development solutions and BYO integrations that remove many of the complex and repetitive tasks from traditional site building.

  • Modern development workflows that simplify runtime environments and devops toolchains, leading to resource conservation, expedited deployment, and more portable and scalable environments

  • Integration with existing tools and environments that more easily allows developers to take advantage of new features within the Acquia developer experience

The best way to learn more about Acquia Developer Studio CLI is to see it for yourself. Swing by our booth to gain early adopter access!

Sponsored Sessions

Shockingly Fast Site Development with Acquia Lightning

Speakers:
Matthew Grasmick, senior program manager, Acquia
Stephen Raghunath, product lead for developer experience, Acquia

April 10, 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.
Room 611 | Level 6

While developers have embraced Drupal for many reasons, there’s one thing it hasn’t been known for: getting developer workflows up and running quickly and easily. We built Acquia Lightning especially with developers in mind to address that very pitfall.

During this session, we’ll take a look at common problems that frequently appear in projects, and explore how the combination of Acquia Lightning and Acquia’s developer tools can help you address them in new ways.

Unpacking a Personalized Experience

Speakers:

Adrianna Shukla, senior editorial and web operations manager, Acquia
Eric Fullerton, product marketing manager, Acquia

April 10, 11:40 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.

Room: 2B | Level 2

While conversations about personalization often center on the end result of conversion, what’s less frequently explored is exactly what element of the process prompted the customer to take that action. During this session, we’ll look at a single personalization experience, from operator to end user, and share a framework, use cases, and best practices you can use to take on the challenge of creating your own personalization experiences.

Acquia Lightning Sessions

We love opportunities to teach others and share the power of Drupal, and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing at DrupalCon Seattle.
