Experience Acquia London will take place on 12th May in The Langham Hotel. Join us for an afternoon of exceptional Experiences including a product update from Kevin Cochrane (SVP Product Marketing), Jim Shaw (General Manager Drupal Cloud) and Alex Dal Canto (Snr Director Product Marketing), and a customer panel discussing why and how we should be providing better Digital Experiences.
Our guest speaker, David Rowan, will give a thought provoking talk on 'Where emerging tech is taking tomorrow's customer experience'. He will focus on the metaverse and challenge you to think about how it is likely to impact our lives from how we socialise, to the way we work, to crime, and everything in between.
This will be followed by exquisite food and drinks, networking in The Langham’s courtyard, and live entertainment.

Bayer is a multinational pharmaceutical company who produce and market brands like Asprin, Berroca, Rennie, Yasminelle, and many more.
They started their Acquia journey in 2019, using Acquia Site Studio to streamline their website hosting and publishing process. Fast forward two years, and Bayer is rolling out 100+ websites per month, reducing time to market, increasing velocity to launch, and giving marketers back time to focus on what comes next.

'Where emerging tech is taking tomorrow's customer experience'
Since founding and taking on the role as Editor-in-Chief of WIRED magazine’s UK edition, David has invested in more than 60 early-stage tech companies, including two that became billion-dollar “unicorns”, and is an adviser to Lakestar, one of Europe’s largest venture-capital funds. He has also authored a best-selling book “Non-Bullshit Innovation: Radical Ideas from the World’s Smartest Minds” which sets out sixteen proven strategies for future-proofing a successful business — from “Turn products into services” to “Empower your team” and “Become a platform”.
At Experience Acquia London, he will give a thought provoking talk on the metaverse and NFTs and challenge us all to think about the business, personal, and broader societal implications of the emergence of these technologies.
