Most proud of:
We have integrated our PIM system, so we manage all product images, literature, and videos within Acquia DAM and it syncs to the PIM system. With multiple websites and varying products, this saves uncounted hours of uploading assets and keeping those assets up to date. If a new version of the asset is available, a new version is added and changes are synced quickly. Acquia DAM allows us to be nimble in managing our assets for our websites.
Our use of Portals has greatly sped up the product launch process. These portals are a single link that can be shared to all of the assets a Distributor needs in order to set up a product in their system. Instead of relying on a handful of tools, Acquia DAM allows our customers and employees to access the appropriate content, download in a variety of formats, and easily share that content with others.
Implemented Acquia DAM because:
As a manufacturer of many brands across several countries, having a single resource for product photos, literature, and videos that are accurate and up-to-date is crucial. The Acquia DAM links are an incredible resource for us. Once we share a link to a photo, document, or video, we can continually update that link to the asset if there is a revision or an error.
Metadata is such a key component. Being able to filter search results not only by asset file type, but also by brand, types of images/literature/video, and even details such as product material is a massive benefit. IT allows our users to navigate a massive library quickly and efficiently instead of digging around in folders hoping they have the asset saved.
We also separate content by region and permission those regions accordingly. This keeps users from being overwhelmed by an ocean of content.
Return on investment (ROI):
It is such a key tool for us because it consistently feeds websites and is an ideal resource for sales, marketing, and customer care. The tool is reliable, the support is great when we need it, and Acquia DAM is always looking to improve their product. Can't ask for more!
Desired customer outcomes (DCOs) hoping to achieve:

Consolidate redundant tools
Ensure brand consistency
Publish brand-approved content
