Acquia Invests in Latin America as a Strategic Market

The multi-recognized Acquia starts operations in Latin America with an already established five-year customer base. 

With the acquisition of Mautic, Acquia becomes the first open cloud of commercial marketing, supporting innovation in organizations that look to open source for proactive and adaptive technologies - offering a better customer experience.

Mexico City -- July 9, 2019 -- Acquia, the open source digital experience company, today announced its arrival in the Latin American market, expanding its presence to Mexico and Brazil. The company’s software and services, built around Drupal, give enterprise companies the ability to build, operate, and optimize websites, web applications, and other digital experiences for customers. Acquia enters this market while adding more than 325 enterprise customers worldwide in 2018.

Acquia's digital innovation is also now strengthened with its recent acquisition of Mautic, creator of the world’s only open marketing automation and campaign management platform. With this acquisition,  Latin America organizations can now automate, personalize, and measure the entire customer lifecycle – across every channel, at every stage, and at every interaction.

Today, every company needs to be digital, providing better service to its customers where the user experience is at the core of a business process that helps obtain a competitive market advantage. According to Acquia research, 87 percent of marketers were confident that they’re meeting customer needs and delivering a winning customer experience. Yet nearly half of consumers globally disagree. When these disconnects are left unchecked, companies can leave customer experience investments by the wayside. The Acquia team in Mexico will be led by Valladares and Brazil by Brenno Valerio, which will be comprised of personnel from the commercial area, new business development, solution architects and partner management. Acquia also recently launched its Spanish website version, as part of the commitment with it's regional customers so they are able to access information about products and services in their own language.
