As Acquia's Vice President of Global Field & Events Marketing, Angela Schmidt has responsibility for the strategy and execution of Acquia’s global events, field marketing and vertical marketing programs. She has more than 18 years of experience in global events, field marketing, demand generation, channel marketing and marketing strategy for B2B technology organizations. Angela is both a strategic thinker and tactical planner who takes a customer-centric approach to build programs that deliver measurable revenue growth. Prior to her role at Acquia, she held roles as the Head of Global Events & Marketing Programs for Software AG and webMethods.
Angela has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and lives with her family in Washington, DC.
