LONDON – 20 February 2018 – Digital experience company Acquia today announced it is bolstering its EMEA sales and marketing team with two new hires who will complement the company’s strategic direction under new CEO Mike Sullivan.
Acquia appointed sales veteran Steve Williamson as the company’s new sales SVP in EMEA. With more than 30 years in tech sales, Williamson brings a vast amount of expertise to the business, and will focus on significantly increasing the company’s sales footprint and focus in EMEA.
Prior to joining Acquia, Williamson worked for Salesforce, where he started as a senior director of sales — before becoming senior director for northern Europe and then finally associate VP for western Europe and emerging markets. During his time at Salesforce, Williamson oversaw the region’s treble-digital growth and expanding customer base from 10 to more than 130. Previous roles also include senior sales roles at EMC, BMC, and Oracle.
