AUSTIN, Texas – June 2, 2014 – Acquia, the digital business company, today announced the winners of the 2014 Partner Site of the Year awards. An award ceremony was held at the conclusion of Acquia Partner Day at DrupalCon Austin, which continues through June 6 at the Austin Convention Center.
Acquia’s digital agency partners submitted more than 100 client sites for consideration across 15 categories. Judges selected 15 winners from 45 finalists, evaluating each site’s visual design, functionality, integration and overall customer experience to select the winners.
Digital consultancy Reading Room took the overall Partner Site of the Year Award for its work on the English Tourism Council’s VisitEngland site, which allows tourists to discover vacation and holiday ideas throughout the United Kingdom.
“VisitEngland earned honors for the best overall site with a highly visual and interactive user experience, designed to inspire visitors through powerful use of relevant content, social insight, photography and multimedia,” said Scott Liewehr, president and principal analyst of Digital Clarity Group, who served as a judge in the Partner Site of the Year competition. “ReadingRoom’s work is an excellent example of how organizations can deliver tremendous impact through creative and effective digital strategies.”
