How Jewelers Mutual Unified Its Brand Assets
For 113 years, Jewelers Mutual has protected the people who own jewelry and the jewelers who sell it, across both its commercial and personal lines. Over that time, the company accumulated a vast library of brand assets. The problem was that all of it lived in a shared folder system where no one could find anything, and a rebrand had just added a new set of logos to the mix. There was no real hub for the work the team relied on every day.
In this video, marketing specialist Sam Albertsen explains how Acquia DAM became that hub. As the company's DAM administrator, Sam centralized every logo, image, document, and presentation in one place, then connected the library directly to the website through Drupal. Today, those embedded assets regularly reach more than a million views.
The change went further than the internal team. Using custom Portals, Jewelers Mutual now gives the external jewelers it works with a branded space of their own, where they can download assets like customized insert cards whenever they need them. A request that once meant calling a rep and waiting days, sometimes weeks, now takes minutes.
The result is a solution people actually use. Team members who are not especially technical can find what they need on their own, the creative department has room to breathe, and executives have one less thing to worry about.
