Launching a Publication in Minutes with Acquia AI

For years, launching a new digital publication has meant months of work before the first story even hits the ground. Architectural decisions. Content modeling. Design. API integration. Reviews. Then more reviews. And only then, the work most teams actually wanted to do, publishing.

In this Engage London 2026 demo, Acquia walks through what that looks like when Acquia AI is doing the heavy lifting.

The setup: Vantage Media Group, a fictional global media organization, needs to launch The Signal: a new science and technology publication aimed at a younger demographic. The editorial team that pioneered the idea has no budget and no available developers. But they need the new publication wired into Vantage's mobile app, RSS feeds, partner APIs, and AI-discovery channels from day one.

What happens next is the demo. The team opens Acquia Source, starts a conversation with an Acquia AI agent, and shares their goals, content types, landing pages, responsive and accessible design, API availability. The agent, already loaded with Vantage's brand guidelines, logo, colors, typography, and approved imagery, then translates the goals into a plan, shares it for review, and gets to work. It loads the right skills from the Acquia AI skills library to structure content types, build Drupal Canvas components, and ensure accessibility. It pauses at critical milestones, never publishing or deleting without explicit approval. Macro delegation. Microsteering. No AI slop.

The result: a responsive, accessible, editable, API-ready publication — live and ready to scale the moment the first viral story breaks. Built from the inside out, at the speed of AI, with the governance enterprises demand.
