Canvas Forms
Every campaign, event, and landing page needs a way to capture information. For most marketing teams, that simple need turns into a project. You either pull a developer off their roadmap or bolt on a separate form tool, then wait for the two systems to talk to each other.
Acquia Source removes that step. In this short demo, you will see how marketers build, connect, and manage forms directly inside the page, without ever leaving Acquia Source.
Here is what the walkthrough covers. You start in the forms tool and create a new form from a preset, such as Sign Up or Contact Us. We use Sign Up to build a registration form for an event, keep the built-in email field, and add a field for name. From there, you copy the form code into a new component, add it to your library, and drag it onto the page. Enabling a CAPTCHA helps cut down on spam submissions.
Behind the scenes, Acquia Source is the database for every submission. You can export those submissions to a spreadsheet or trigger a webhook to notify another system. For personal data, retention rules let you delete or anonymize records after a set period, which helps your team stay within GDPR.
The result is a shift worth paying attention to. Form building goes from a developer ticket to something your marketing team owns on its own.
