BSG’s new intranet community portal connects employees worldwide

Blink Reaction Testimonials

Back to partner details

Blink Reaction’s web development team came highly recommended to us. Their developers stepped in and immediately understood the difficult challenges of our project. In addition, they were undaunted by the looming deadline for delivery.
Blink Reaction developed, tested and launched the site in time for us to demonstrate it live at BSG's annual meeting.

Project Details: We envisioned a new intranet community portal that would be the first of its kind in our industry. It would also be our company’s first Drupal-based, open source, content management website. We had two primary goals. One goal was to offer employees, scattered throughout the U.S. and Canada, a direct way to connect with each other to share best practices, ask questions and make internal connections.

The second goal was to provide employees with a one-of-a-kind online source of instantly-accessible product and selling knowledge, produced through the combined efforts of BSG Training and our partner manufacturers. This source would include numerous interconnected articles, videos, and documents.

With these goals in mind, the launch of this new technology was extremely important. To encourage our team to utilize the new site, it had to be: easy-to-use, fast and free of any technical glitches that would frustrate the user.
We started developing the site on our own, but the increasing complexity of the project became a time drain on our team and our launch date was approaching--fast.

The response was even better than we expected – we were given a standing ovation! We knew we’d found a web development partner who was up to any challenge. To everyone at Blink Reaction—thanks for making us look good!
