X.commerce gebruikt Acquia te migreren content ontwikkelaars eBay en PayPal naar Drupal [12 oktober 2011]
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - (Marketwire - Oct 12, 2011) - Innovate Developer Conference - Acquia, the enterprise guide to Drupal, today announced that eBay's (NASDAQ: EBAY) new business, X.commerce, an open commerce ecosystem, has migrated its X.com developer website and all developer-related content on eBay and PayPal from a proprietary platform to Drupal 7, an open-source content management system (CMS). Using an open environment, X.commerce enables the development of tools and technologies that enhance how consumers shop online.
"Our goal at X.commerce is to create an open commerce ecosystem that developers, technology providers, merchants - and ultimately consumers - can benefit from," said Naveed Anwar, Head of Community, X.commerce. "Working with the open-source technology that Drupal provides fits in very well with our philosophy."
