Government websites have it tough. The mandate is: Provide a great user experience, be compliant with FISMA, oh, and cut costs significantly.
Many agencies have discovered Drupal as a key way to provide a great user experience at a lower cost, but further cost cutting is typically found with moving hosting to the Cloud. To date moving agency web sites to the cloud has been impeded by Federal compliance requirements and navigating the Certification & Accreditation (C&A) process can be daunting.
Acquia is here to help. We’ve designed and implemented a control environment for the Acquia Cloud which fulfills FISMA moderate baseline security requirements in accordance with NIST 800-53r3 and we have additionally included those controls which have been proposed by the developing FedRAMP program which will soon replace FISMA as the C&A process for cloud service providers like Acquia.
But we realize that there’s a lot more required than finding a provider that has that box checked.
Acquia is here to help guide agencies to a successful FISMA certification for their Drupal site hosted in the Acquia Cloud. Participants who join this webinar will learn:
* The FISMA certification and accreditation process
* How Acquia Cloud is architected to be in compliance with the standards defined by FISMA and FedRAMP
* What’s covered by Acquia Cloud’s FISMA documentation
* What controls the agency will be responsible for when they host their Drupal site with Acquia
