Fresh start to the new year: Add Drupal to your toolbox

As the new year starts, I'm making ALL kinds of resolutions. Is learning Drupal on your list of things to do? Or maybe you want to finally switch over that site to Drupal? Hopefully our active training events calendar has courses and dates and locations to suit your needs.

Last year, our partners taught Drupal to nearly 3000 people in public free and paid training events, and that doesn't count any private training events. Wow! Well done team!

However, most of those events were in the US and Canada. OlinData ran their first Hello Drupal event in December in Utrecht, Netherlands, and one attendee came all the way from Belgium. This makes me think we're missing a chance to grow really big with Drupal on a global scale. In 2013 we plan to see much more activity in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America.

Our partners, placed around the globe, help us increase the reach with Drupal training where people need it. Partners such as Linalis deliver training in Paris and Geneva. And we have a new partner, Olin Data who are a "location independent" team. I was delighted when they joined, because this means they are able to bring Drupal on tour to places where we don't have training partners.

Drupal training goes global

In fact, the European and global events calendar is shaping up nicely! Thanks to our partners for coordinating their schedules! Keep an eye out for dates being announced in the next couple of weeks. As always, you can request a training in your area as well.

Where would you like to see Drupal training in 2013?
