When the Drupal community looks to the future, big things happen. In this Event Highlight, relive DrupalCon Europe 2024 as it took over Barcelona and brought 1,100 Drupalists together for one unforgettable gathering.

The energy centered on a major moment: Dries Buytaert delivered the new Drupal Starshot demo—now officially branded Drupal CMS. On stage, he showed off the features set to become the standard for no-code Drupal website building, giving attendees a first real look at how the next generation of Drupal will lower the barrier to entry and put powerful site-building tools in more hands than ever.

It was all a preview ahead of the January 15, 2025 launch date, making Barcelona the place where the community got an early glimpse of what's coming. Beyond the keynote, the event captured everything that makes DrupalCon special: a meeting of the brightest minds across the Drupal-sphere, sharing ideas, collaborating, and shaping the open source platform's road ahead.
