Summary:

Acquia is seeking a Technical Product Manager with experience and passion for building great products. You must have a proven track record of building world-class products and make them successful in a high growth environment. The successful candidate has a passion for applying technology to solve practical, valuable business problems and can translate business goals into prioritized technology plan.

Technical Product Managers at Acquia are responsible for converting high-level roadmaps and goals into actionable epics and stories and then working with engineering teams to deliver product.  From writing those epics and stories, prioritizing, managing expectations, through to driving business and technical delivery, our Technical Product Managers are expected to drive their Product to successful outcomes for our company and customers.

Responsibilities:

Among your duties as a member of the product team, you will:

  • Serve as the Scrum product owner
  • Translate high level goals into actionable epics and user stories, working closely with engineering to realize these goals
  • Communicate roadmap deliverables to customers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with functional and business requirements
  • Assist with feature prioritization and managing trade offs
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Support, etc) to define the product experience, turning high-level business needs into functional requirements.
  • Create and manage near-to-mid term product roadmap, prioritization, tradeoffs and constraints and execute that plan with engineering
  • Define and drive go to market strategy, packaging and pricing for new and existing products
  • Identify and manage product cost
  • Assess current and emerging technologies and market/industry trends in order to inform platform strategy

Must Haves:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in product management in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Enterprise SaaS product management experience
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management and internal evangelism
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Strong ability to work well cross-functionally on a personal level with individual team members
  • Proven ability to establish clear priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented with an ability to manage competing prioritizes
