Dries & Drupal Training in India

Dries Buytaert, the creator of Drupal and the CTO of Acquia, is visiting India in November (from the 7th to the 11th). He will be joined by Ron Pruett, Acquia CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), and Jacob Singh (Acquia Senior Advisor). They will be visiting Delhi (7,8 Nov), Mumbai (9,10 Nov), and Hyderabad (11 Nov) to engage with the developer and business communities and to further the adoption of Drupal. In each city, DrupalCamps will happen at which Dries will speak. We encourage anyone local to these events to attend, and submit sessions!

Training events will be held at or around most of the camps (HelloDrupal @ the Delhi Camp for example). Stay tuned to the camp pages for details.

Azri & Srijan, Acquia training partners, have been busy hosting and running HelloDrupal events across India in preparation for Dries’ visit - getting people excited about Drupal, getting basic knowledge out, and starting new Drupalists on their journey to greatness. So far, they’ve held events in Guargon, Noida, Dharamshala, Bangalore, Secunderabad and Hyderabad.

In the coming weeks, Azri & Srijan will also be holding “Drupal in a Day” courses and some advanced Drupal workshops for those already familiar with Drupal. For example, Srijan is holding training on October 28 & 29 in Guargon. Azri is holding a training/workshop for advanced users and development leads on November 4th and 5th, in Bangalore.

This is just the start of Drupal training in India, and we are very excited to continue to grow and increase the opportunity for gaining Drupal knowledge in India.

Please stay tuned to http://training.acquia.com/events for more info about specific events. If you’d like to see a HelloDrupal event in your community, please get in touch with training@acquia.com and we’ll help you get one set-up.
