Announcing Acquia Engage 2015 Keynote Speakers

Acquia Engage

Even though we’re just hitting peak summer season here in New England, when long beach days and starry nights prevail, our team at Acquia is busy planning a spectacular event for late October: Acquia Engage 2015. If you were one of the lucky folks who attended last year’s inaugural event, you know just how exciting it is that we’re bringing the conference back for a second year. Much like last year, you can expect some of today’s most progressive, influential leaders in the digital space to deliver keynotes, inspiring sessions on all things digital transformation, hundreds of peers ready to talk shop, and of course, epic entertainment.

To kick things off for this year’s Engage conference, we recently announced the first two confirmed keynote speakers:

daniel pink

Daniel Pink is the author of five books on business and technology, including New York Times best seller A Whole New Mind. He also hosts Crowd Control, a series on National Infographic Television that takes problems and creates solutions using unique design, technology, and behavioral science principles.

jake sorofman

A former CMO and current VP of Research for Gartner, Jake Sorofman analyzes digital marketing strategy, trends, and practices, with an emphasis on mobile, social, content marketing, and digital marketing operations. He works with clients to improve customer engagement, brand evangelization, revenue growth, and business transformation. We’re excited to have them on board, and look forward to the insights they can share on the state of the digital landscape today.

In addition to Pink and Sorofman, we’ve just added a third keynote speaker to the line-up. We’re delighted to welcome Lisa Welchman.

lisa welchman

Lisa is a visionary of all things digital, as a keynote for this year’s conference. Lisa, currently the President of Digital Governance Solutions at ActiveStandards, has spent her 20+ year career paving the way in the discipline of digital governance. She’s worked with organizations to help stabilize their complex, multi-stakeholder digital operations, with a focus on understanding and interpreting how the advent and growth of digital impacts organizations. In January 2015, she published a book titled Managing Chaos: Digital Governance by Design, and in October 2015, she’ll share her wealth of knowledge with our conference attendees.

In the coming weeks, we’ll release a full schedule of sessions, and other exciting details. Stay up-to-date by following our Engage website, and check out the blog periodically for more announcements (concert talent and location TBA -- you don’t want to miss that one!).

Ready to register? We’d love to have you! Still on the edge? Check out a peek at last year's action...
