Tim Bertrand

Chief Sales Officer

A nine-plus year veteran of Acquia, Tim Bertrand leads the company's Americas (North America, Canada, LATAM) business, public sector, .EDU/NGO, mid-market/inside sales and global accounts teams. He is also responsible for global execution around the company's most strategic opportunities and partners.

Prior to his newest set of responsibilities, he served as the company's CRO for seven years, leading the company to more than 28 consecutive quarters of record revenue growth during his tenure in the role. In 2013, Acquia was named the fastest growing private technology company in the U.S., and in 2016, Tim was awarded worldwide sales executive of the year in the Stevie Awards.

Tim came to Acquia from OpenSpan (a Matrix Partners company) where he served as vice president of worldwide enterprise sales and channels, which included managing many enterprise relationships and all worldwide ISV/OEM, reseller, global system integrator and public sector relationships. Prior to joining OpenSpan, Tim served in various leadership roles including direct, indirect and public sector sales roles at Systinet Corp. (acquired by Mercury Interactive), Cape Clear Software (acquired by Workday) and Silverstream Software (acquired by Novell).

Tim graduated summa cum laude from Bryant University and resides in both Boston and Southwick, Massachusetts, with his wife, daughter, and two boxer dogs. Outside of Acquia, Tim and his wife own a professional auto racing team and enjoy traveling, lakes, boating, cooking, and great wine.
