BURLINGTON, Mass. – February 5, 2015 – Acquia, the digital experience company, today announced that it was named a strong performer in the Forrester Research, Inc. report: The Forrester Wave: Web Content Management Systems Q1 2015. The Cambridge, Massachusetts, technology research firm cited the Acquia Platform’s “cloud-first” WCM solution, which is well suited to multi-site firms, and its standout features, which include solid content management and delivery functionality, and a strong developer community and component ecosystem.
Forrester Research reports that “Web content management (WCM) software has become the technology and content delivery backbone of digital experiences. Firms that want to upgrade for mobile devices, consolidate potentially thousands of websites, or expand digital experiences to every customer touchpoint must choose a solid web content management product.”
According to Forrester, Acquia received the second highest strategy score among all vendors and received the highest possible score for its cloud strategy.
