Acquia Appoints Christine Komola, Staples CFO, to its Board of Directors

BURLINGTON, Mass. – March 31, 2015 – Acquia, the digital experience company, today announced the appointment of Christine Komola, chief financial officer of Staples, Inc., to Acquia’s board of directors. Komola will serve as chairwoman of the board’s audit committee.

Komola brings more than 25 years of financial operations and management experience to the Acquia board. She previously led financial operations for Staples.com and later led marketing and merchandising for Staples’ furniture division before taking on executive finance roles. She was appointed CFO and principal accounting officer of Staples, Inc. in 2012. Komola previously held several positions at Ernst & Young LLP.
