If you're a regular reader of this blog, you know that I often am using this as a soapbox from which to announce Free Student Training. And so - I return again today to do more of the same.

But I'll start with a little philosophy and context here before I get to the meat of newest set of offerings.

Events in Drupal

Pretty much every time I run a Hello Drupal course, people want to know more about event calendars in Drupal. These two questions just came into my inbox just this morning:

Q: Is it possible to have different users logging on and updating the events/ and only have access to their own events to edit?
A: Yes! That is included with Drupal core.

Drupal adoption is ever on the rise. As you may have noticed if you are a regular reader of this space - we here at Acquia like to promote the adoption and learning of Drupal - especially among students. Sometimes we offer training directly for students, sometimes we help our partners promote their training specials for students, and sometimes we hire recent students to work with us.

Acquia Partner Training

Acquia's partner program is a fantastic resource for our customers as they seek to deploy the most interesting and useful Drupal projects they can.

Our partner program is also a great way for our partners to grow their business - by working with us on larger deals they can get exposure and experience with larger clients than they may work with on their own. Partners also get exclusive access to Acquia staff for advice and support. One of the ways that we help our partners build their expertise, experience, and business is through training.

NYC Student Discounts on Drupal Training

A friend just sent me a link to a job description. Given that I work at Acquia, and run training, this should not be remarkable. Most of my friends outside of Acquia & Drupal imagine that I must have a line to pools of Drupal developers, designers, and other folks just waiting for work. [Insert knowing laughter from Drupalists the world over here.]

Training @ DrupalCon & Beyond

Wow! It's been an exciting three days so far of DrupalCon. Trainings, meetings, presentations, BOFs, keynotes, booth time, parties, and time with old (and new) friends. For me, I've been meeting partner after partner and getting excited about the year to come.

Before I get to more recap though, I want to highlight a couple events coming up in the coming weeks.

Training + Drupal = Success!

It's that time of year again. That time when we're going to get flooded with new ideas, examples, and ways of using Drupal. Why? It's DrupalCon season of course!

To follow up on our post about the Security Training we're running in Denver, we now introduce you to our second training course - "Making the Switch: For Experienced Developers Moving to Drupal" taught by Jeff Beeman, Joshua Brauer, and Chris Porter.

Check out the (very amateur) video below with Jeff Beeman and Erik Webb. Jeff is leading this years course, and Erik taught this course with Jeff in London & Chicago. They have some fun doing a "fireside" chat and covering the outline of the course. Watch for Jeff's watch... ;)

The making of a Ubie - Inside Acquia training

As you may know, Acquia has been growing quite fast. Since I joined the company in the fall of 2008, we have gone from about 25 employees to around 200 today. It has been a fantastic ride for everyone, and we see no signs of slowing. The tough part of growth for us has been keeping up with the demand for talented Drupalists. From what I understand, Acquia isn't unique in this requirement.

Perfecting Permissions and Editorial Workflow

Do you work with organizations that require content review before content gets published? This common task is one that is made easy with Drupal. In this webinar, we'll show you how to build a common editorial workflow that allows an author to create and edit his or her own work and submit it for editorial review. Authors and editors can collaborate until content is ready to be passed along for final approval and publication.

Join Acquia and OpenSourcery for this upcoming webinar you will learn how to:
