Achieving Continuous Integration with Drupal

Creating killer websites is hard, but deploying them shouldn’t be.

Developing and deploying web sites is best accomplished using a methodology called Continuous Integration (CI). By working in small batches, testing constantly, and automating all testing and deployment tasks, you can avoid big surprises and painful deployment experience. However, achieving a true Continous Integration development process requires building and maintaining a highly automated infrastructure. You can build such a system yourself, or with Acquia Cloud you can be up and running in a few minutes.

New Acquia Dev Cloud documentation release!

I’ve been at Acquia as the Director of Engineering Services for 8 weeks, and I’m really excited to announce a new release of the Dev Cloud documentation! In two short months we re-architected the Dev/Managed Cloud docs from end-to-end making it easier for you to find what you need. I was so impressed with the folks who helped us pull this off so quickly. Not only were changes implemented to add new functionality to the documentation pages themselves, but the Engineers heroically endured my “friendly following up” to ensure all material was reviewed.

Multiple sites per server on Acquia Dev Cloud

When we announced Acquia Dev Cloud at Drupalcon Chicago last month, we said it was primarily designed for professional developers who build and deploy multiples Drupal sites. Today, we are delivering one of the key features behind that promise: the ability to click to create and manage multiple sites on a single Dev Cloud account.
