Acquians had a great day yesterday at the Greater Boston Food Bank preparing food and household goods for distribution to 550 charitable organization throughout eastern Massachusetts. We combed through 7,661 pounds of donations, discarding spoiled, leaking and post-dated items, and put the remainder in boxes of related items, ready for delivery. On average, each volunteer made possible 112 meals for the needy.
