Wearemany.tv is a global community that is converging around the events of February 15, 2003, when over 15 million people marched in protest against the war in Iraq, in over 800 cities around the world. The goals of the community are to make a film documenting the protest, create a digital archive of interviews and materials about the event, and to build an online community to foster the communication and collaboration of this powerful global voice. The project, led by film maker Amir Amirani, has attracted the participation of celebrity names such as Brian Eno, Danny Glover, Jesse Jackson, Harry Belafonte, Noam Chomsky, Tim Robbins, and Arundhati Roy

This webinar will look at how Drupal Commons is serving as the key building block for enabling the coordination of the community, providing a hub for social media, and presenting the public face for the whole project. We'll talk with Amir Amirani aobut how Commons was chosen, the configurations and customizations that were needed to meet all of the special needs, and the key benefits that Wearemany.tv has gained by choosing the Drupal Commons open source platform.

Some of the topics covered in this webinar include:
Learn why Commons is the ideal online organizing, community building, and fundraising platform.
See how Commons can be put to use on projects with a limited budget and limited technical expertise.
Learn how to use Commons to build and structure digital archives.
