Scalable Enterprise Deployment with Drupal and Acquia Search

MTH Electric Trains website was first developed in 1998 on an IIS server platform using .asp, coldfusion, and a Microsoft Access database. By 2008 MTH realized this technology was not able to keep up with the company's growth and the demands of its customers. They began looking for a new solution that would not only let them take advantage of these new technologies but allow their customers to quickly search their over 20,000 products in a timely manner. Drupal Construction, an Acquia partner was brought in to develop a scalable turnkey solution that would allow them to meet these goals. Using Aquia's Drupal distribution and the Acquia Search product, Drupal Construction was able to deliver a solution in just over 5 months.
