Making SharePoint Social with Drupal Commons

With Drupal Commons, organizations can get more out of their Microsoft SharePoint platform by extending it to internal and external community sites. Drupal Commons now integrates directly with Microsoft SharePoint, enabling SharePoint users to open up their documents and files for collaboration and input from the wisdom of crowds both inside and outside the organization. Combine SharePoint's workflow and document management capabilities with the content-rich, social experiences native to Commons.

In this webinar you will learn how:

  • Commons and Sharepoint can be seemlessly integrated within an employee intranet or customer community
  • How Sharepoint documents can be opened/edited/deleted and folders created within Commons
  • How to get started integrating the two solutions

Great !

I can't wait until the module will be published on drupal.org !

I look forward to seeing this published. Would you know if this is compatible with SharePoint 2010 Foundation? That edition does include CMIS connector and has the advantage of being free (with a licensed copy of Server 2008)

Does someone knows the current state of the implementation?
