Best Practice Checklist for Building a Drupal Website [May 30, 2013]

Want to learn more about Acquia’s products, services, and happenings in the Drupal Community? Visit our site: http://bit.ly/yLaHO5.

Before you launch a Drupal site, how do you make sure that you haven't missed anything and that your site is ready to launch? If someone else is going to be maintaining the site, how do you make sure the site can be easily maintained? While Drupal provides lots of functionality out-of-the box, even the simplest website requires configuration, installing contributed modules, and the checking of checkboxes.

In this webinar, Suzanne Kennedy will walk you through a checklist of best practices for Drupal site building including:
• A list of default configurations that often need to be updated
• Site building techniques to help administrators and others maintain the site
• Pre-launch items that need to be updated before the site goes live

Whether you’re a sitebuilder, administrator or project manager, this presentation will help you avoid post-launch hassles and ensure that you're following best practices for building a sustainable Drupal website.

I came here by clicking a link under the heading "All Videos," and I would tremendously enjoy reviewing the Webinar as a video playback; but can only find a slideshare deck, which is not much of a substitute for hearing the speaker. Do you have any plans to upload a playback link? Thanks

You need to register to be able to see the video.

I HAVE registered, and I STILL can't see the video.

More precisely, I thought I registered, but if I try to log in through the "log in" link below the big, huge "register" button, it tells me that my username or password is incorrect.

Try using your email address as your username. You can also request a new password if you can't remember the one you used before.

I just tried again and requested a new password using every possible email address I might have used, but I keep being told that they are "not recognized as a user name or an email address."

This does not inspire great confidence in your company :-)

Thanks to our logs I can see that you have finally managed to register yourself, so hopefully you can now see the video here. It appears that your previous attempts to register were not actually successful, hence the unrecognized username and email address messages.

I am definitely coming back to these seminars.
This is my first one and it seems like it is the most important seminar I ever attended.
The only thing is I couldn't attend live reason being I live in Australia.
