This is a one-man firm, and I am that man. I bring independent consulting experience as well as a vast background in both large and small systems development to my work, as well as proven integrity and a strong commitment to delivery the best quality in a reasonable time, under budget and on schedule.

My specialization is in back-end custom development, and my greatest strength lies in my ability to come up to speed with almost supernatural swiftness. Typically, I am productive on the second day after being introduced to a job, and can come in at any phase of a project: preliminary specification, design, development and maintenance.

I do have experience working on front-end design, enough that I can maintain and extend existing theme work, fix problems and integrate new design elements. I consider myself to be in school every day, so that ability to design is constantly improving during my free time.

I believe in constant, wide-bandwidth communication where feasible, with both clients and colleagues, in order to ensure that the job is done right the first time. To that end, I have extensive work experience writing documentation, too. I use instant messaging, video conferencing, whiteboarding and other real-time collaboration tools, as well as the traditional standbys of e-mail and telephone. I have worked as a remote developer for 12 years and counting, and my clients and colleagues continue to benefit from what I do.
