It is about one year ago that we released our "community out of the box". An entire community platform based on Drupal and Commons. For a successful operation of your community, we added a German translation and enhancements that we deemed necessary.

INNODROP

Innodrop 2.0 with a framework for multilingual capability

The latest version now offers a user interface in both German and English. An outstanding new feature is especially worthy of mention; not only are two independent translations of static content provided but all contributions (submitted ideas and comments) are machine translated into all available languages, currently German and English.

The results of machine translation are by no means perfect but they enable participants of a different language to understand and comment on the content of a contribution.
