Going Global: How to Make Your Site Multilingual [July 23, 2013]

Creating multilingual sites will greatly increase your audience. Setting up and maintaining translations, however, can be tricky. In this webinar, we’ll review how Acquia.com went from an English-only site to offering French, Dutch and German versions. During this project we had to go through a few changes including switching from Entity Translation to Content Translation module.

Dave Myburgh, a Senior Engineer at Acquia, will describe the initial translation, the switch from Entity Translation to Content Translation, and our current process for handling translations. Dave will review the lessons learned during this transition and share what has worked best for Acquia.

You’ll also learn about:
• The differences between Entity and Content Translation modules
• Setting up a multilingual site using our current options
• Tips and tricks to avoid common pitfalls for multilingual sites
