Acquia's partner program is a fantastic resource for our customers as they seek to deploy the most interesting and useful Drupal projects they can.
Our partner program is also a great way for our partners to grow their business - by working with us on larger deals they can get exposure and experience with larger clients than they may work with on their own. Partners also get exclusive access to Acquia staff for advice and support. One of the ways that we help our partners build their expertise, experience, and business is through training.
As an example of how we work with our partners to grow their skill base, we're holding a couple partner-only training opportunities in the coming weeks.
First up is Security Training on Thursday April 19. This is the gold-standard course for security in Drupal. Developed by Ben Jeavons and Greg Knaddison, this course will teach you how to evaluate your risks and secure your site and processes. The training begins with a review of the most common kinds of vulnerabilities found in Drupal sites, then focus on the specific ways to address those problems in both site configuration and code.
Next is our new Drupal for Project Managers course on Thursday April 26. This is a course we've developed together with our partner Tribeca Digital. This course is a hands-on lab that teaches Project Managers how to scope, plan, and run the build of a Drupal project, and serves as an introduction to Drupal for Project Managers. This will be the first time we’re delivering this course, and we'll be making sure this course runs globally after this first run here in Massachusetts.
Directly following each course there will be an informal social gathering of Acquia staff and fellow training participants/partners.
To participate in either of these training events, get in touch to reserve a spot. Each course will be limited to 20 participants, and participants must be employees of existing Acquia partners.
