After several years designing humanoid robots and implementing advanced Artifical Intelligence patterns for them, Jean contributed to several Semantic Web initiatives. He eventually embraced web technologies in 2007 when he founded his own web design shop and started using Drupal on a daily basis. Since then, Jean worked for many integrators, including big names like Capgemini, and got involved in some of the most proeminent Drupal projects that got released in the past few years (Royal Mail, Eurostar, Alcatel Lucent, etc).
As a former embedded software developper, Jean is fascinated with performance and scalability, and is never scared to use cutting edge technologies and tricks, or even explore new grounds, to reduce page loading times millisecond by millisecond.
Jean holds a Master of Science in Embedded System design and Computer Science from ENSTA, and got several papers accepted for international publications when he was working for the Joint Robotics Laboratory in Tsukuba, Japan.
