We have moved the Acquia Status website: http://status.acquia.com to a new platform. The new site is built to allow us to be more proactive and reach out faster and in a more targeted manner.
The new website features status of all the major Acquia platforms and products. Currently we have separate statuses for each component: Acquia Cloud Enterprise, Acquia Cloud standard, Acquia Network and Insight, Acquia Cloud Site Factory, Drupal Gardens, Acquia Cloud API, and Acquia Search.
The site will also allow us to give updates on individual incidents as they occur. When an incident is first posted, it will be marked as "Investigating" and then we will update the status to "Identified", "Monitoring" and/or "Resolved" with the appropriate information. There will be times when not all statuses will be used for every incident. For example, we may have a temporary blip that is resolved quickly that "Identified" and "Monitoring" would be skipped.
One of the exciting new features of the site is the ability to subscribe to the site via email, SMS messaging, or RSS/Atom feeds.
You can subscribe to individual components, individual incidents, or receive all notifications. This will let you get only the updates that you feel should be appropriate for your site.
The existing RSS feeds from the old version of the site will no longer work, so you will need to make updates
We are just starting out with this new platform and hope to expand its use and capabilities as we find new and exciting ways. We hope to be able to narrow down the focus so that you can get even more targeted alerts and embed much of the functionality into your Acquia experience.
Please feel free to let us know any feedback you might have on the new system. We are looking to make it as useful as possible for our customers. We may not get all of the features in place immediately, but we will let you know our roadmap and what's to come.
