FedRAMP - one goal. multiple paths (but please, no hugging)

To paraphrase Matt Goodrich, it's past time to stop "hugging your server" and to start embracing the Cloud.

In the not too distant wake of this year's cancellation of DIA (DoDIIS), and despite seemingly never-ending budget concerns, attendance at the AWS Worldwide Public Sector Summit just two weeks ago was strong. In particular, the room was overflowing with people when an expert panel convened to discuss FedRAMP:

FedRAMP Paths

Given the many paths available, the number of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) will continue to grow - including Acquia, whose IaaS controls are inherited from AWS to help provide our fully Drupal-optimized PaaS solution.

With two FISMA Moderate ATOs under our belt, we're now working with the Department of Transportation to obtain an Agency ATO for FedRAMP compliance. Our way of saving the Government, and others, a few dollars.

Okay, you can hug us - anything to help you let go of your server.
