Introducing the Acquia Insiders Advocate Community

For the past two months, we’ve been working on a new community for Acquia customers, developers, and partners. Today we’re opening up the community to a bigger audience, and that includes you!

We know that many of our customers and partners are looking for ways to share their passion for Drupal and Acquia with others. We wanted to create a way for you to tap into that passion, and that’s exactly what we’ve done with the new Acquia Insiders advocate community.

We engage advocates through a series of challenges, from including tweeting about Acquia, taking a reference call, sharing a case study, or referring us to someone who might be interested in using Acquia’s products.

Challeges

Each time you complete a challenge, you’ll be issued points. There’s a leaderboard so you can keep track of your progress against other advocates in the community. And completing certain challenges will award you unique badges (think Foursquare).

You can redeem awards for stuff like Acquia swag, charity donations, and even a ticket to the next DrupalCon!

If you’d like to help spread the gospel of Drupal and Acquia, we’d love to make you a part of the community. Simply complete the nomination form, and we’ll send over the details.

So join us, and let me know what you think. We’ve got big plans for the community, and you’ll want to get in now while you can!
