If I may start this post with something obvious - let me say that "Drupal is global."
In my last post I wrote about DrupalCon (and associated Training) coming to Europe in August.
Today's post brings us even further from this writer's desk - crossing the equator, the prime meridian, and crossing seasons from the hot hot summer we're having here in Boston to the deep down under winter of Australia & New Zealand.
In the coming month, there will be 3 weeks of training provided by one of Acquia's Training Partners - PreviousNext. The Winter Drupal Training Tour will start off in Sydney, move to Canberra, and end up in Wellington. PreviousNext have summarized these training offerings in this nice tidy blog post. Full details and links to each course are below the fold.
The Canberra training coincides with an event being put together by Acquia & PreviousNext for government employees looking to innovate while saving money. With growing pressure to drive innovative, citizen-centric web experiences with budgets that are coming under greater scrutiny, government departments around the world are turning to Drupal. Drupal is the world's leading open-source Content Management System (CMS) for large-scale websites. Representing Acquia at this event will be Kieran Lal
As Drupal grows, we know that we'll be doing more training in Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of the Asia Pacific region. Accordingly, we've grown the network of Accredited Acquia Training Partners in the area - recently bringing on board RealityLoop & Technocrat. So please stay tuned to our events listing to find new training events being listed regularly.
