There is no question mobile devices are completely revolutionizing the nature of how we connect. People worldwide are increasingly turning to phones as their primary web connection. NGOs are now faced with a critical choice to either invest in a mobile strategy or risk irrelevance.

Looking from a strategic/non-technical perspective, this session will explore a number of ways NGOs can employ mobile using Drupal and free and open source source software for program delivery, fundraising and communications. Additionally, we'll look at specific case studies and how organizations are currently harnessing mobile and empowering communities worldwide.
