Drupal adoption is ever on the rise. As you may have noticed if you are a regular reader of this space - we here at Acquia like to promote the adoption and learning of Drupal - especially among students. Sometimes we offer training directly for students, sometimes we help our partners promote their training specials for students, and sometimes we hire recent students to work with us.
I'm please to announce more of the first of these options - training specifically for students. We're going to run a full week of training for students at Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and UMASS Amherst. All of these schools are moving more and more to Drupal, so this training will both help students understand the sites they'll be interacting with daily, as well as prepare them for a variety of post-graduation opportunities. Almost every one of Acquia's partner companies are hiring, and as students get experience with Drupal, they can use it to land those jobs, create their own companies, and generally make the web a better more Drupal-y place.
Classes will be:
If there is space, we'll also be taking in students from other schools in the Western Massachusetts area, including Holyoke Community College (HCC), Greenfield Community College (GCC), Springfield Technical Community College (STCC), Springfield College, Elms College, Bay Path College, Westfield State University, American International College (AIC), and Western New England University (WNEU).
We're also about to announce our "Summer Series" of Drupal training for students in the Boston area, so do stay tuned to our listing of courses and this blog for more information.
