Acquia Partners with ONUVA to Further Drupal's Success into Latin America

The explosion of Drupal has begun to shake the globe’s South Western Hemisphere. Over the past few months we’ve seen a significant uptick of demand for Drupal services across Central and South America. Being able to supply this demand with the same level of services Acquia offers our current customer base is of the utmost importance. Acquia has a handful of South American partners to help deliver these services including SeeD Software from Colubmia, BeezNest from Peru, and EasyTech, Drupal Soul, and Drupblue out of Argentina. Today I am excited to add one more to the region by announcing our partnership with ONUVA, an enterprise caliber organization with 60+ experienced professionals, operating out of Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Miami. ONUVA and Acquia are exploring a number of business models to help organizations in Latin America harness the power of Drupal, and ensure their ongoing success with the platform.

With ONUVA’s proven track record of delivering world class projects, their passion for furthering Drupal in Central and South America, I have nothing but high expectations for the expansion of Drupal adoption in the region. Drupal already has a number of activity hotbeds including Argentina, Brazil, and Peru. Various governments in the region use Drupal, a number of Columbia's top publishing sites use Drupal, political parties, museums, blogs, and the list goes on.

In our first official conversation as partners, a number of great ideas were exchanged to help further Drupal awareness into Latin America. Activities discussed include increased trainings in the region, live online events in Spanish, and increased case studies of Latin American enterprises successfully deploying Drupal. The expansion of Drupal and Acquia’s services into the region will be highly dependent on the success of our partners, and I look forward to helping this area of the partner program grow. I highly encourage any firms interested in working with Acquia and/or ONUVA to apply to our partner program at and read ONUVA’s partnership announcement blog post in Spanish.
