Olav Schettler
Olav is a software architect in Bonn, Germany. He fell in love with Drupal many years ago when first looking into the clean codebase and well thought-out architecture. He has implemented quite some Drupal projects for corporate customers, either integrated in proprietary content management systems or stand alone. He also co-authored a German O'Reilly book on Drupal 6. However, in the last couple of years, he got distracted from Drupal, having implemented and operated platinnetz.de, the largest social network for the 50plus generation in Germany, using CakePHP.
He is also a father of two teen boys and soccer fanatics (sic!) and a three year old girl. In his free time, he enjoys sailing and teaching Physical Computing workshops for kids.
