Michael Booth

Mike joined Acquia after several years as a Drupal consultant and was promptly drawn to the Cloud team, where he dabbles in everything from Drupal back-end optimization to Unix configuration management to release engineering and QA. Mike's experience as a pro developer goes back twelve years (when he worked with the legendary Linux/AOLServer/Oracle/Tcl web stack); he also has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and has worked as a semiconductor fab product engineer and a cancer researcher at Mass General Hospital. Mike's rotating list of hobbies includes cooking, sailing, history, amateur sound engineering, banjo, and piano.
