An erst-while linguist and aimless traveler, Jesse joined Acquia in March 2010 as a CSS and theming expert. She cut her teeth on WordPress (since version 1.5) and tinkering with PHP frameworks like CakePHP. Jesse has jumped into the Drupal world with guns blazing, hoping to make meaningful contributions to the D8 theming layer improvements.

In early 2011, Kevin O’Leary, one of Acquia’s UX Jedi, launched an effort to redesign the visual branding of Acquia. By May, the design work was far enough along to allow us to start developing a Drupal theme for a complete reboot of acquia.com.
